Old Fisherman’s Grotto, a restaurant in Monterey California is banning booster seats, strollers & high chairs, or in other words… kids.
The decision was an easy one for the owner Chris Shake, who says he isn’t concerned if people are offended or not.
He said “Well let’s put it this way, I haven’t had a down year in over 20 years, our business continues to grow.” – While others, including tourists & locals have mixed opinions. Some say its not fair, & ridiculous. Others say they wouldn’t go there to eat because ” it just doesn’t seem like it would be friendly.”
While some say they agree that its nice to have dinner without children as a “distraction”….. even their own.
I’ll keep my personal opinion to myself, but I’m curious… would YOU eat there?
